About Sofa Clean — Your Local Upholstery & Carpet Cleaning Service
My name is Yaroslav Kyslityn, and I am the founder of Sofa Clean and the creator of SofaClean.ie.
Sofa Clean is a local upholstery and carpet cleaning business based in Dunboyne, County Meath, Ireland.
I started Sofa Clean to provide professional cleaning services for upholstered furniture, mattresses and carpets in customers' homes.
My approach is simple: use suitable equipment, understand the material before cleaning, explain what results are realistic and provide clear prices before starting the job.
Meet the Founder — Yaroslav Kyslityn
Founder of Sofa Clean | Creator of SofaClean.ie
I am personally involved in developing Sofa Clean, improving cleaning techniques and choosing the equipment used for our services.
I believe that customers should know who is behind the business and feel comfortable asking questions before inviting someone into their home.
My goal is to build a reliable local cleaning service where customers receive personal attention, straightforward communication and a professional approach to every job.
Professional Cleaning Equipment & Continuous Improvement
For suitable upholstery and carpet cleaning jobs, I use the Santoemma Sabrina Maxi, a professional spray-extraction cleaning machine.
This equipment allows cleaning solution to be applied to suitable fabrics and carpets, followed by extraction of moisture and loosened dirt.
However, professional cleaning is not simply about using a powerful machine.
Different materials require different techniques, cleaning solutions and levels of moisture.
Before starting a job, I consider the fabric type, construction, visible wear and nature of the stains.
I continuously work on upgrading and expanding my cleaning equipment.
Investing in additional tools and improving my cleaning methods helps me work more effectively with different surfaces, improve the quality of my services and gradually expand the range of cleaning jobs Sofa Clean can offer.
My aim is to keep developing the business rather than relying on the same equipment and techniques for every cleaning situation.
Every Fabric Deserves the Right Approach
A sofa, a mattress and a fitted carpet may all require very different cleaning methods.
Even two pieces of furniture that look similar can have different fabric compositions or constructions.
Some fabrics tolerate extraction cleaning well. Others may be sensitive to moisture, cleaning products or mechanical agitation.
Older furniture, delicate upholstery, worn seams and layered mattresses may also require additional care.
I assess these factors before recommending a cleaning method.
Some old stains, permanent discolouration or contamination deep inside a material cannot always be completely removed.
I prefer to explain these limitations honestly rather than promise results that cannot be guaranteed.

Clear Quotes Before Booking
I want requesting a cleaning quote to be straightforward.
You don't need to complete a long form or arrange a home visit just to ask about the price.
Simply send me a WhatsApp message with:

- The number of items or rooms.
- Photos of any noticeable stains or problem areas.
- Your area or Eircode.
I will review the information and provide a quotation based on the cleaning work required.
Once the details are agreed, we can arrange a suitable date and time.
